The James Sharp team collectively raised over £10k which far exceeded our expectations.
A huge thanks to all those who have given so generously. There were a few blisters and tired legs after 26 miles and over 60K steps but all the team finished with a smile. The weather was kind, warm at times but generally overcast. The event was very well organised with regular pit-stops including a hearty lunch break.
MacMillan do a great deal of support work for those who live with cancer.
Over 98% of their funding comes from events like this, without those supporting them, their crucial work simply would not happen.
