James Sharp duo take on Manchester Half Marathon for children’s charity

James Sharp duo take on Manchester Half Marathon for children’s charity header image

Investment Adviser Steve Ross and Trainee Stockbroker Adam Frankland are both taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday 16th October in aid of Save The Children.

A veteran of the Manchester 10K courses, Steve is embarking on his first half marathon for the children’s charity, whilst Adam Frankland already has one half marathon under his belt having completed the Wilmslow Half Marathon in 2014.

The pair have trained hard for the course over the past couple of months and Steve is hoping to hit just below the two hour mark, whilst Adam is hoping to finish with an estimated time of about 1hr 40 minutes.

When asked why they had chosen to raise money for Save The Children, Steve Ross replied: “It’s a charity that does such an amazing job around the world. They really do have their work cut out for them helping children in countries across the globe, especially in war zones such as Syria with the current conflict. It’s such a worthy cause and we wanted to do something to help.”

If you’d like to sponsor them both before the race this Sunday, please take a look at their Virgin Money Giving page.
