Science in Sport Plc – To Fuel British Cycling To Tokyo 2020

The supplier deal will run for four years, effective January 2017, and will see the Company support the Great Britain Cycling Team up to and including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Great Britain Cycling Team will work directly with SiS and its team of sports nutrition experts to create bespoke nutritional strategies to fuel their world-class athletes, including Jason Kenny, Laura Kenny and Philip Hindes. Nutrition plans will be tailored for each individual athlete and will include a wide range of SiS products, including its isotonic GO Gels, REGO Rapid Recovery and innovative WHEY20.

 

Double Olympic champion Hindes commented: “Nutrition is vital in cycling – you can't perform if you don't look after how you fuel and recover for each session. Science in Sport will be integral to helping us achieve success and maintaining our edge on the world stage.”

 

In addition to the Great Britain Cycling Team the broader British Cycling membership of 130,000 will benefit from exclusive offers from SiS, as well as nutritional guidance throughout each year.
