The TR E5x/msd-RC, based on a quad-core Intel® Xeon® Processor, has successfully passed qualification tests including storage and operation over extreme temperature ranges and reliable operation when subjected to shock and vibration. The robust TR E5x/msd-RC is now available for use in applications within harsh environments such as those encountered in many military, defence, transportation and industrial applications.
As with all Concurrent Technologies Plc products, this is a long-life cycle computer board and is expected to be supplied for at least seven years. In addition to new customers and new projects, it will appeal to existing customers as a technology upgrade path from previous products, or to those customers currently in development with the commercial version of the product.
