It might have been wet and murky on the West Pennine Moors but there were big smiles all round for Team James Sharp!

Senior Partner Ian Bolton, Associate Investment Advisor Steve Ross, ISA Manager Phil Mackintosh and Trainee Stockbroker Adam Frankland conquered the Three Towers Challenge at the weekend and raised an impressive £710.

Kitted out in waterproofs, the fundraisers put their best foot forward for the 22-mile climb to the North West landmarks of Peel, Rivington and Darwen towers.

It took them 8.5 hours, they burnt 4,500 calories and took an impressive 47,000 steps.

Steve Ross said: "We had a very wet day on Saturday, but it was really good fun all the same.

"We have raised £710 for Children with Cancer UK which exceeded our target. Thanks to everyone who supported us, it really is appreciated."

Children with Cancer UK is a leading national charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. The charity aims to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer.
