James Sharp & Co has been providing stockbroking services in Bury since 1885. Although the company is now much different to how it was over 125 years ago, we still maintain our core values of tailoring services to each particular client, and searching out small to mid-cap companies with conservative management, strong cash-flow, robust balance sheets and a history of organic growth. Our investments are aimed more for the medium-long term, rather than trying to predict short term fluctuations in the market.

Our strategy has rewarded clients over many years with takeovers of companies such as East Surrey Holdings, Glenmorangie, Hardys & Hansons, Weetabix and more recently Northumbrian Water.
